I often find that my role in whatever company or situation I am working in changes many times over the course of a few months. It often depends on the status of development or projects we are working on. Sometimes this can be very frustrating, but I have realized that you just need to settle down and not try to redefine yourself every time there is a change in flow. It is so cliched I wince to write this, but you just have to go with the flow. Eventually things will normalize and then you can make decisions on what you are responsible for. If you make rash decisions on your job duties because something comes up one day, you can mess up your priorities for months, and that isn’t fair to you or your company.
